Motocross Coaching Video - Standing Position
Your standing position is the building blocks of riding your dirt bike. Basically every thing you do on your bike stems off from your standing position. The more time you spend working on this the easier everything else will become.

ONE: Stand Central on your bike, make sure you position your feet with the arch of your foot to begin with.

TWO: Grip the bike with your legs and keep you knees slightly bent. You can use your legs as suspension to work with the bike. Remember there should never be any gap between the bike and your legs.

THREE: From here you want to arc your back slightly. This will spread the load over a larger muscle group in your back.

FOUR: If you have the first 5 point correct all that is left is your head. Make sure you tilt your head up and look down the track rather than down at your front wheel.

FIVE: Keep your elbows up and bet for strength and stability.

SIX: Down to your hands, Try to keep 1 - 2 fingers out over you front brake and clutch lever majority of the time.
