Turning your motocross bike in the air is an art you will need to take your time with at first. Before you can even try this you will need to have all your jumping skills sorted perfectly or it will surely end in tears. Remember what ever happens in the air is a reflection of what you have done on the approach to the jump. Once you have this skill worked out you can use it to your advantage in a lot of situations.

ONE: The approach is key to being able to turn your bike in the air. As you come toward the jump you will need to lean the bike to the side you wish to turn to on the upramp.

TWO: Lean off the inside of the bike a little as you leave the jump. This will help the bike arc around in the air.

THREE: Start off small with this skill and slowly build into it to make sure you can pull the bike back straight before you land.
