When upramps become rough or rutted it can cause you some problems right before you leave the jump which isn't really ideal. The best thing you can do if possible is avoid the bad line but sometimes this isn't possible. This video may help you out if you are having problems.

ONE: Choose a smoother line if possible but if not try to hit the jump as straight as you can to reduce the risk a little.

TWO: Drive the bike all the way up and off the jump with the throttle. If it's a kicker at the top of the ramp use a sharp burst of throttle just as you hit it. If you chop the throttle it will cause the bike to get kicked rear wheel high.

THREE: Practice this stuff when you get a chance, you will become more and more comfortable with hitting the rough rutted lines on the faces of jumps.
