We take a look at a section of track that has a good inside rut and also a good berm. Some things we need to take into account is the double jump leading into the corner and if you will be able to wash off enough speed to make the inside rut. Also will the berm give you a better run into the whoops on the exit of the turn.

ONE: Make sure you give both lines a go and get a feel for what feels better. If it's on a race track you will need to be able to hit all the lines so you can make passes and don't have to follow.

TWO: Take into account the entry line and the speed you can carry into the turn.

THREE: The best way to know what line is faster is to do a sector time. This is done by hitting both the berm and rut a few time and have someone time you from a point before the corner to a point after the corner. You will pretty quickly get an idea of which line is working best and is fastest.
