Motocross Coaching Video - Flat Turns
Flat turns are a very common type of turn on MX tracks. They are avoided by a lot of riders simply because of the high technical aspect of riding them

ONE: A wider entry line will open the corner up and make flat turns easier from here on in. Most riders enter too tight and that's the reason they find them so difficult.

TWO: When you sit make sure you have a lot of weight over the front of the bike and sit on the outside edge of the seat.

THREE: Relax your outside hand on the grip a little. This will help you keep that outside elbow up.

FOUR: Make sure you're in a nice gear that will drive you through the turn and try not to be too aggressive on the throttle. The smoother you are the easier flat turns will become
