Motocross Coaching Video - Corner Entry
It all starts with the entry! Cornering is a fundamental part of riding your Motocross bike. If you looking to simply flow around the track better or if your looking to shave some seconds off of your lap times corners are the right place to start.

ONE: On the approach to to a turn you generally want to choose the widest line you can within reason. This will open the corner up and allow you to carry a good amount of entry speed.

TWO: You want to apply the brakes to wash off the right amount of speed for you to attack the corner with control. Remember to use front, rear and engine brake all together. Check out high speed braking video!

THREE: After the last braking bump or when you want to turn the bike the hardest in the turn it is time to get into the seated position. To start this process you lift your inside foot off the foot peg and sit toward the front of the seat. If you get this right you should have your elbows up, bum at the front of the seat, foot out with toes pointing forward.
