Motocross Coaching Video - Jumping Small Doubles
Basic or entry level doubles are very common on motocross tracks these days. They are a great place to start to build your skill, bike control and confidence.

ONE: Build up from rolling the double to get a feel for the upramp and your body position.

TWO: Jump into the middle. This will give you a feel of how you leave the upramp and start to give you an idea of the speed you will need to clear the double.

THREE: Carry you momentum off the upramp with smooth consistent throttle to downramp the double nicely.

FOUR: For the racer or more advanced rider you may want to charge at the jump a little harder and land on the flat past the downramp. This will save you time not only on the approach but you will carry more speed away from the jump too.
